A strong start to last season had Granada fans hopeful that their team would be able to improve upon their 15th placed finish the previous season. Unbeaten in the first 4 games of the season, Granada were sitting pretty in 5th, but couldn’t maintain their form and went on a terrible run of 14 games without a win before finally beating Elche at the end of January. Their form didn’t improve though, going on another barren run, including a 9-1 defeat to Real Madrid, which had them stranded in the r
